Hi! I’m Tabitha, owner and creator of Taby 2 Tone Art.

I currently work on my dad’s food truck, Dia De Los Tacos in Honolulu, Hawaii. Working with my dad and learning how to build a business from him has prepared me to take this leap of faith and for that I’m so very grateful. There’s really so much more to it than meets the eye and if you’ve done it or are preparing for it, you know what I mean.

For as long as I can remember I’ve been interested in art and have always dabbled with drawing and painting. There is something so satisfying about putting a pen or paintbrush to paper and creating something, anything.

As many artists out there I was always being told by my friends and family that I should sell my art. I always thought to myself ‘one day I’ll try...’ and actually put it as number ONE on my wish list (I don’t care for the term “bucket list” lol).. True story by the way, bored one day I wrote out a wish list currently holding over 200 items! Most of them small and silly but a girls gotta wish!

With a little more encouragement from family and some gentle pushing I’m finally diving in!

Never considering myself an “artist” I feel that I can now humbly accept that title as I have officially sold a couple art prints to a non-family customer (lol! Hey, that’s how it’s supposed to start right? Or so I’ve been told haha).

On December 12, 2018 I jumped right in, December 13, 2018 I made my first sale (Thank you Windy!!) and all within a few short weeks since then I’ve started an Etsy Shop, my own website (celebrating that I have a “dot com” haha), started building my Instagram and Facebook, made a few more sales and just so much more!

I’m BEYOND excited to see where this journey takes me!! Just being able to share my artwork with whoever will let me makes me AND crossing off my #1 wish makes me very happy.

Where will this artistic adventure take me? Why is it called “Taby 2 Tone Art”? Check in with me on Instagram and Facebook @taby2toneart to find out! As always, thank you for your support! 🙏🏻💚
